Conveying a sense of heat and the fiery life spark of an ancient sequoia, Sequoia and Sun seeks to convey the relationship between nature and the sun. This impressionistic commission captures all of the movement and vibrancy of the giving and receiving of energy that occurs in nature everyday. Sequoia and Sun pays homage to this most ancient and noble tree that happens to be an outstanding feature in the landscape in the client who commissioned it.
